The BGB helicopter rescued the drowned child and brought it to Dhaka

A BGB helicopter rescued a one-and-a-half-year-old child who drowned in the flood waters while reaching the flood-hit Parashuram of Feni and brought him to Dhaka. On Saturday (August 24) evening, the BGB helicopter mission was conducted to deliver the relief materials to the helpless Banvasi people who were affected by the floods in the Parashuram Pilot High School grounds of Feni.

Meanwhile, BGB Air Wing Deputy Director General Md. News came to Moinul Islam that the one-and-a-half-year-old child Nazmul of Kazi Nurul Amin, a resident of the neighboring Antapur village, had drowned in the flood water.

He said, the family members rescued the child unconscious after a lot of searching. In such a situation, the Deputy Director General of BGB Air Wing immediately brought his family members to Dhaka’s Tejgaon Old Airport by helicopter.

The child was then taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka by Bangladesh Army ambulance. Currently, the condition of the child is out of danger. 2000 kg of relief material of Bangladesh Army was delivered to Parshuram Pilot High School in Feni, Fulgazi Pilot High School and Hingula Hasania High School in Chouddagram of Comilla through two helicopter missions of BGB.
