The last day to sell advance train tickets for Eid trip is Saturday. A huge demand for tickets has been seen on this day as well.

By 10:30 am today, 14,000 tickets have been sold for the Western Railway (Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions). The number of tickets allocated for this region is 14 thousand 770.
The sale of tickets for the 9th April journey (Western) started this morning. In the first half hour, 1 crore 23 lakh people tried (hit) the website to buy more than 14,500 tickets.

The sale of tickets for the eastern railway (Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet division) will start from 2 pm today. 16 thousand 696 tickets have been allotted for sale for this region.

Railways started selling advance train tickets from March 24. Tickets go on sale on the first day, April 3. After that, advance tickets for the days before Eid have been sold in stages.

However, railway officials said that the last three days including today are the most in demand for tickets.
