Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has announced that gas supply will be temporarily suspended in several areas today, Thursday (August 7), due to pipeline relocation work.

In a notice issued on Wednesday (August 6), Titas stated that under the Dhaka-Narayanganj-Demra (DND) drainage development project, existing gas pipelines are being relocated in parts of Narayanganj. As a result, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM today, a total of 4 hours, gas supply will remain suspended for all categories of consumers in the following areas:

Siddhirganj, Chittagong Road, Mizmiji, Chowdhury Bari, Batenpara, Mouchak, Passport Office, Lucky Bazar, Bou Bazar, Hajiganj, WAPDA Bridge, and Chairman Bari.

Titas further mentioned that surrounding areas may also experience low gas pressure during this period.

The company has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to customers.
