Gazipur Pubail Correspondent:

Five robbers were arrested by the local public while attempting to rob in Pubail, Gazipur.

The incident took place at the Mazukhan Friends Style Wear Limited Garment Factory in Pubail on Monday night. The factory, which had been inactive for nearly a year, was targeted by the robbers at around 3 AM. Upon noticing the robbers, the locals apprehended them and informed the factory's assistant administrator, Md. Babul.

Babul immediately arrived at the scene and alerted the Pubail Police. A police team arrived at the site, recovering the five robbers and their tools, and took them to Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital for initial treatment before transferring them to the police station.

The arrested individuals are:

Chan Mia (29), son of Abdur Rahim Mia from Shyampur, Jamalpur District

Mamun (30), son of Abul Latif from Majukhan West Para, Pubail

Rasel (27), son of the late Khurshid Alam from Kaitanla, Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria District

Sohag (age unknown), son of the late Nazir Hossain from Katali, Faridganj, Chandpur District

Sohel (26), son of Badsha Mia from Badagur, Nakla, Sherpur District

A case was filed by Babul regarding the incident.

Pubail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Md. Amirul Islam confirmed that the case has been filed and the suspects have been sent to court.
