Following the July uprising led by students and citizens, young revolutionaries painted graffiti across the capital, which garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally. A compilation of these graffiti even reached the United Nations. To witness the artwork firsthand, the interim government’s chief advisor, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, visited the Dhaka University area.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 16, Dr. Yunus toured the Dhaka University area to view the graffiti created during the people’s uprising.

He was accompanied by legal advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul, youth and sports advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib, information and broadcasting advisor Nahid Islam, and the chief advisor’s special assistant, Mahfuz Alam.

The Sheikh Hasina government was overthrown on August 5 following the people’s revolt, and the interim government assumed office on August 8. From the start, Dr. Yunus has praised the graffiti displayed across the walls of the city, and under his guidance, a compilation was created, titled The Art of Triumph.

Last month, during his trip to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Dr. Yunus took the compilation with him, presenting it as a gift to various world leaders and dignitaries.
