This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations may begin on June 7, as education boards have tentatively set this timeframe. However, the date has not been finalized yet.

A senior official from the Dhaka Education Board, speaking anonymously, said on Tuesday morning that June 7 has been proposed as a preliminary date. The proposal will be sent to the Ministry of Education, and the exams will start on that date if it receives approval.

Each year in Bangladesh, around 1.2 to 1.3 million students take part in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.
