Grants for Research on Liberation War & July Uprising

The guidelines state that calls for research proposals will be announced each year by July 31, with submissions due by October 31. After evaluation, the final selection of proposals will be completed by December 31 annually.

 

To support this initiative, a dedicated fund will be established, financed through the Annual Development Programme (ADP), the national revenue budget, or contributions from development partners.

 

A 10-member committee, led by the Additional Secretary (Planning and Development) of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, has been formed to oversee the process. This committee will invite and review proposals, shortlist individuals and institutions, while the final approval of any research project will be granted by the Ministry’s Secretary.

 

Selected researchers must complete their work within the specified timeframe and submit a report. The ministry will closely monitor progress, and there are plans to publish and preserve the research findings in the form of books, reports, or other formats.
