Popular film actor and member of Parliament Ferdous Ahmed has gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah Hajj.
Ferdous left for Saudi Arabia on a flight at 2 pm on Thursday. He is accompanied by his mother, mother-in-law and sister. A photo taken in Makkah Sharif was published on social media on Friday.
Ferdous published the picture on social media Facebook and wrote in the caption - 'Alhamdulillah'.
Ferdous was nominated by Bangladesh Awami League in the recently concluded national parliament elections. Apart from acting in films, he has gained fame in modeling and presentation. Graduated from Dhaka University in Mass Communication and Journalism.
The first film starring Ferdous is hero Salman Shah's unfinished work 'Fire in the Heart'. After that, he made his solo debut as a hero in 1998 through the movie 'Prithibi Amare Chai Na' directed by Anjan Chowdhury.
After that, he became widely discussed and popular in 1998 with the joint production movie Hathat Bristhi directed by Indian filmmaker Basu Chatterjee.
