Saif Ali Khan is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after being stabbed at his Bandra residence. Following the attack on Thursday, discussions have been rife on social media regarding his condition and when he might be discharged. Meanwhile, details of his health insurance policy have surfaced online, sparking further conversation.
The leaked insurance documents reveal that Saif has a health insurance plan worth ₹36 lakh, of which ₹25 lakh has already been approved by the insurer for hospital expenses. Reports suggest that Saif might be discharged by January 21.
The leak has raised concerns on social media about the actor's privacy and security. In response, the insurance company issued a statement acknowledging the incident. They confirmed that Saif is their client and that the approved sum is partial, with the remaining amount to be settled upon completion of his treatment. The company assured their support for Saif and his family during this challenging time.
The leaked documents have also drawn criticism, with some social media users accusing the insurer of favoritism towards celebrities, claiming that ordinary people often struggle to secure payouts without extensive effort.
