On the night of January 15, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked and stabbed six times, leaving him severely injured and hospitalized. After undergoing two surgeries, he was discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on January 21. Although news of the stabbing surfaced shortly after the incident, Saif addressed the media for the first time on Monday.
Saif appeared at a press conference to promote his upcoming Netflix film Jewel Thief: The Heist Beginnings, in which he stars alongside Jaideep Ahlawat. When asked about his health and new projects, Saif expressed his gratitude, saying, "It feels great to stand before you all. I'm really excited about this film. Siddharth and I have had many discussions about this project over time. I've always dreamed of working in films like this, and getting the chance to work with such a talented co-actor leaves me with nothing more to ask for."
Since returning home, Saif has been cooperating fully with Mumbai police in their investigation. The suspect, Shariful, is currently in judicial custody.
According to a Times of India report, in light of the attack, Saif and Kareena have implemented new security measures for the safety of their family. They have restricted paparazzi from photographing their children, Taimur and Jeh, and are working to reduce the media crowd outside their residence. Source: The Indian Express.
