Israel Carried Out Missile Strike in Iran, Says Defense Minister Katz

Israel launched strikes in Iran early Saturday, describing the operation as a “pre-emptive attack.”
In a morning statement, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the assault and declared a “special and ongoing state of emergency” across the country.
Iranian media reported hearing three explosions in the capital, Tehran.
According to Fars News Agency, several missiles struck locations in the Republic area of Tehran.
