U.S. law enforcement rescued 18 migrants from inside a tanker truck in Guadalupe County, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. The truck was stopped on a highway ramp, approximately 270 miles north of Texas. The sheriff of Guadalupe County reported that the 18 individuals were hidden inside the tanker. The migrants, all adults, were confirmed to be from Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala. After Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) confirmed their presence, they were extracted from the truck.
