The International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants against Sheikh Hasina and 11 others in connection with enforced disappearances during the 15-year rule of the Awami League. The order was given today, Monday, by a two-member tribunal headed by Justice Golam Mortuza Mojumdar, following a prosecution petition.

Alongside Sheikh Hasina, those named in the warrants include former Defense Advisor Major General (Retd.) Tariq Ahmed Siddique and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed.
