A typical low-pressure area is currently located in the southern Bay of Bengal, and the weather department has predicted thunderstorm showers in two divisions of the country. Other areas may experience partly cloudy skies with mostly dry weather. According to the meteorological office, from Sunday evening until 6 p.m., brief thunderstorms with gusty winds are expected in a few places in the Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, while other parts of the country may remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies. This weather pattern may persist for the next 24 hours.
The weather office also stated that the daytime temperature across the country is likely to remain almost unchanged for the next two days, while the nighttime temperature may slightly decrease. On Saturday, the highest temperature of 34.4°C was recorded in Jessore. The daytime temperature may drop on Tuesday, March 4th.
In the extended forecast for the next five days, it is expected that both daytime and nighttime temperatures across the country may decrease further.
