The Meteorological Department has predicted intermittent rain throughout the month

Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay of Bengal. It has been raining all over the country for several days. Rain will continue today and may increase. Rain likely to continue for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has given glimpses of rain intermittently throughout this month.

According to the forecast, there may be more rain in the northern part of the country. All river ports including Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been shown local warning signal number three due to gusty winds in the Bay of Bengal.

Manowar Hossain, a meteorologist of the Meteorological Department, said that moderate to heavy rains may continue intermittently throughout the country throughout this month.

The weather forecast says that light to moderate rain or thunder may occur in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions on Monday. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rains in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

Besides, light to moderate rain with gusty winds temporarily occurred in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions on Tuesday.
Or there may be rain with thunder. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rains in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

According to the observations of the Meteorological Department, Panchagarh received 108 mm of rain on Saturday and 182 mm on Sunday. Apart from this, Feni and Cox’s Bazar also received more than 100 mm of rain. Rain fell in all the districts of the country except Tangail. There is a risk of landslides in Chittagong, Rangamati, Khagrachari, Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar. So the people living under the hill have been told to move to a safe place.
