Advisor to the Ministries of Youth and Sports, and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Asif Mahmud Sojib Bhuiyan, emphasized the need for a strong national unity to protect the country’s sovereignty. In a Facebook post made late Tuesday night (May 6), he stated that safeguarding sovereignty requires powerful national solidarity and cohesion. Meanwhile, in a separate post the same night, Hasnat Abdullah, chief organizer of the National Citizen Party (NCP), also urged everyone to stay united in defense of national security and sovereignty.
