According to a weather alert issued for inland river ports between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday (July 4), there is a risk of storms accompanied by rain or thunderstorms in several regions of Bangladesh. The forecast, signed by meteorologist A.K.M. Nazmul Haque, warns that areas including Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar may experience gusty winds blowing from the south or southeast at speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour.
