Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, held a bilateral meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya on Tuesday (12 August) morning, marking the start of his three-day official visit to Malaysia.
The talks began at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office, where both leaders led their respective delegations in two high-level meetings.
Following the discussions, the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing confirmed the signing of five Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and the exchange of three formal notes between the two nations.

3. Formation of a Joint Business Council between FBCCI (Bangladesh) and NCCIM (Malaysia)

5. Collaboration between BIISS (Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies) and ISIS Malaysia (Institute of Strategic and International Studies)

Earlier, at 9:00 a.m. local time, Dr. Yunus received a red-carpet welcome from Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, along with a guard of honor.
The Chief Adviser arrived in Kuala Lumpur the previous evening at 7:50 p.m. on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
