Road, Rail & Shipping Portfolios Split Between Two State Ministers

The government has reassigned responsibilities between two state ministers overseeing the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, the Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Shipping.
Habibur Rashid has been placed in charge of the Road Transport and Highways Division as well as the Ministry of Railways. Meanwhile, Md. Rajib Ahsan has been assigned responsibility for the Ministry of Shipping and the Bridges Division.
The information was confirmed through an official order issued by the Road Transport and Highways Division under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.
According to the order, the responsibilities were delegated in line with a gazette notification dated February 17. Relevant authorities have been requested to take the necessary steps to formalize the distribution of duties accordingly.
