It has been raining with thunder in different parts of the country for a week. A strong wind is blowing. There has been hail. The weather is slightly cooler. Now the boro crop is in the field. Buds have started to form on the mango tree. The agriculturists think that this rain is positive for all these.
The Meteorological Department says that storms are normal at this time. There will be occasional storms throughout the month. The temperature will be quite bearable. Meteorologist Md. Bajlur Rashid said, rains occur during this time due to western low pressure. Westerly winds are accompanied by dry and cold air. Along with this, the hot southerly air created in the Bay of Bengal creates clouds. It rains.
Bazlur Rashid said that although there is little possibility of heat wave in this month, there may be heat wave in April. He said, there may be a heat wave early next month. But it may not be severe.
