Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali has stepped down from his position as Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

DMP spokesperson Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter on Wednesday (February 25) around noon.

According to him, Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali resigned from the post citing personal reasons. He signed his resignation letter and submitted it to the Police Headquarters.
