Three U.S. Service Members Killed, Military Says

The United States military has confirmed that three American service members were killed and five others seriously wounded while taking part in operations targeting Iran.

In a statement, U.S. Central Command said additional personnel suffered minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment. Some are expected to return to duty. The statement noted that major military operations against Iran are ongoing.

Officials added that due to the rapidly evolving situation, further details remain limited. The identities of the deceased will not be released until at least 24 hours after their families have been formally notified.

U.S. Denies Damage to USS Abraham Lincoln

American officials have rejected claims that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was struck during an Iranian missile attack.

Speaking to media outlets, a U.S. official stated that the vessel was not hit and remains fully operational. According to the official, the missiles did not reach the carrier.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it had launched four ballistic missiles at the warship.

Trump Claims 48 Iranian Leaders Killed

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said that 48 senior Iranian leaders have been killed during ongoing joint U.S.-Israeli operations.

In televised interviews, Trump described the campaign as highly successful, claiming the strikes had delivered a major blow. He added that the operation is progressing quickly and producing significant results.

Saudi Arabia Says Missiles Intercepted

Saudi Arabia announced that its air defense systems intercepted Iranian missiles aimed at Riyadh’s international airport and Prince Sultan Air Base, where U.S. personnel are stationed.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the missiles were successfully neutralized, and no damage was reported.

Israel Launches New Strikes on Tehran

The Israeli military confirmed it has begun a new wave of airstrikes in central Tehran. In a brief statement, officials said Israeli aircraft are carrying out fresh attacks in the Iranian capital.

Iran Says It Hit U.S. Aircraft Carrier

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard claimed it fired four ballistic missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln following reports of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in earlier strikes.

Iranian state media reported that the missiles successfully hit the carrier. The U.S., however, denies the claim.

The aircraft carrier has reportedly been deployed in the Arabian Sea since late January as part of increased American military presence in the region.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Responds

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that neighboring countries should direct their anger toward the United States and Israel, not Iran.

He said Iran has no choice but to defend itself and insisted that Iranian strikes are aimed at American and Israeli interests rather than neighboring states.

According to Araghchi, Iran is maintaining communication with regional governments to explain its position and stress that it did not initiate the current crisis.
