The semifinal lineup is now confirmed: who faces whom and when the matches will be played

The T20 World Cup has now reached its most exciting stage, with the knockout rounds just ahead. The Super Eight phase concluded yesterday, leaving only the two semifinals and the final to be played. Out of the 20 teams that began the tournament, four remain: South Africa, England, India, and New Zealand.
In the final Super Eight match, defending champions India secured their semifinal spot by defeating West Indies and finishing as runners-up in Group 1. They will face two-time champions England on March 5 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
A day earlier, on March 4, Group 1 winners South Africa will take on New Zealand at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Neither of these two sides has previously won a World Cup title.
The final is scheduled for March 8 in Ahmedabad.
