A tech-driven fraud network has become active in the online slot booking process of the Indian Visa Application Centers (IVAC) in Bangladesh. Allegations suggest that this network uses hacking methods to take control of visa slots, making the process difficult for ordinary applicants.
Recently, serious allegations have been made against Mahfuz Alam from Jessore. Victims claim that Mahfuz promised to sell a special script for booking visa slots, which would work even when the server is busy.
One victim shared that they trusted Mahfuz Alam's offer and paid him 10,000 Taka at IFIC Bank, Jessore Branch (Account Number: 0220135990811). After receiving the payment, Mahfuz provided a script, but it did not work, and they were unable to book the visa slot.
According to the victim, Mahfuz Alam has engaged in such fraudulent activities with many people. The victim has also retained Mahfuz's national ID and photo, which will be handed over to law enforcement authorities if needed.
Indian High Commission's Response:
A detailed complaint has been lodged with the Indian High Commission in Dhaka regarding this incident. A representative from the High Commission stated:
"The visa application process is completely safe and transparent. Booking slots through scripts or third parties is illegal, and legal action will be taken against those involved in such activities."
Special Caution:
The general public is strongly advised not to purchase any software or services from unknown individuals for visa slot bookings or government services. If anyone falls victim to fraud, they should immediately report the matter to law enforcement authorities.
