The publisher of “The Times of Dhaka“, Al Baru Mustakim Nibir, provided financial support to the relief fund of BNP formed to help the flood victims.
He handed over the cash to AJM Zahid Hossain, convener of the party’s relief collection committee and member of the BNP standing committee in Nayapaltan on Sunday afternoon.
It has been informed by BNP that these assistance will be delivered to the flood affected areas within a few days.
Publisher of The Times of Dhaka, Al Baru Mustakim Nibir said, “On behalf of the news agency ‘The Times of Dhaka”, I gave this small donation to the relief fund of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party to help people in the flood-affected areas. Earlier, I gave financial donations to the relief fund of the student community to help the flood victims. The common students of the country and the political parties who have been on the streets for a long time are really commendable.
At that time, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Abdus Salam, Joint Secretary General Abdus Salam Azad, Relief Collection Committee Convenor BNP and Standing Committee Member AJM Zahid Hossain and Joint Secretary General Abdus Salam Azad, Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sharafat Ali Sapu, Research Affairs Secretary Shamimur Rahman Shamim, and among the members of the collection committee are women’s party president Afroza Abbas, BNP’s assistant health affairs secretary Parvez Reza Kakon, farmers’ party president Hasan Zafir Tuhin, youth party’s senior vice president Rezaul Karim Paul, volunteer party’s senior vice president Yasin Ali and Chhatro Dol’s senior vice president Abu Afsan Md.
