
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the timetable for the fourth phase of viva-voce examinations for candidates who have provisionally qualified in the written test for the post of Assistant Surgeon in the 48th (Special) BCS Examination 2025.
This phase will cover 2,792 candidates, with oral exams scheduled from 24 August to 10 September at the BPSC headquarters in Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. Each day’s sessions will start at 10:00 am.

25 Aug (Monday): 162 candidates
26–28 Aug: 216 candidates each day
31 Aug: 216 candidates
1 Sep: 162 candidates
2–4 Sep: 216 candidates each day
7–9 Sep: 216 candidates each day
10 Sep: 164 candidates
Candidate Guidelines
Download and complete BPSC Form-1 from the official website and submit it on the exam day with all required documents, including academic certificates, proof of age, national ID, attested photographs, and BMDC registration certificates (attested copies).
Arrive at least 30 minutes early with all necessary paperwork.
Complete BPSC Form-3 online beforehand, print two copies, and submit them to the interview board.
No interview cards will be sent by post; candidates must download them from the PSC website.
Exam dates will only be changed if valid documentary proof is provided.
In the written (MCQ) stage, 5,206 candidates out of 41,025 examinees qualified. The government plans to appoint 3,000 doctors through this special recruitment process. The exam carries a total of 300 marks—200 for the written component and 100 for the viva.
