Three people lost their lives and two others were injured in a collision between a truck and a battery-run easy bike in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Monday morning.

The crash took place around 8:35 am, roughly six kilometers away from Dumuria Fire Station.

A firefighting team arrived at the site within minutes, reaching there by 8:42 am to carry out rescue work.

Authorities confirmed that three victims died instantly, while the injured were given initial treatment before being shifted to a local hospital.

An inquiry has been initiated to identify the cause of the accident.
