Joint forces have arrested 49 active members of KNF in a raid at Ruma in Bandarban. Before this, a total of 56 people including 7 others were arrested from various places including Ruma, Thanchi and Sadar upazilas. Joint forces arrested them from Ruma Bethel Para on Monday (April 8). All those arrested are residents of Ruma Bethel Para. But they were not found. According to the police, the joint forces started the campaign after receiving secret information. Meanwhile, 49 men and women including 31 men and 18 women were arrested from Ruma Bethel Para.

In this incident, the joint forces recovered seven country guns, 20 bullets, laptops used in terrorist activities, two pairs of boots, a knife, KNF clothes and other equipment. Meanwhile, on Saturday night, the chief coordinator of KNF from his home in Sadar Upazila and three KNF members including three drivers from Thanchi T&T Para and Sadar Upazila Reicha Checkpost area and two others from Ruma Bethel Para were arrested by the joint forces on Sunday night. Additional Superintendent of Police Hossain Mohammad Raihan Kazemi said that a total of 56 KNF members including 49 people and seven others have been arrested in the joint force operation. Legal cases against them are under process.
