If the moon is sighted today, tomorrow will be the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. And if the moon does not rise, Eid will be on Thursday. A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Tuesday to decide the date of Eid-ul-Fitr. Therefore, if the moon is seen somewhere in the country’s sky, the moon sighting committee has called to call.

 

Meanwhile, Eid-ul-Fitr celebration has been announced in Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Wednesday. The moon of the month of Shawwal was not seen in the country on Monday.

The Islamic Foundation said in a press release that the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 pm (after Maghrib) at the Baitul Mukarram meeting room.

 

This meeting will be held to determine the date of Eid-ul-Fitr and the moon sighting of the month of Shawwal of 1445 Hijri. Minister of Religion will preside. Faridul Haque Khan.

 

According to the Islamic Foundation, if the moon of the month of Shawwal is seen anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh, it is requested to inform the following telephone and fax numbers or the district commissioner or upazila executive officer of the concerned district.

Saudi Arabian authorities have announced that today, Tuesday, will be the last day of fasting in the country. The day after that, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal. Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal after a month of fasting.
