City dwellers are leaving the capital on their way home to celebrate Eid with their loved ones. Overcrowding of homebound passengers on road, sea and rail. However, rail is one of the favorite vehicles of people going home on Eid journey with ease. Since there was not much crowd in the last few days, people left Dhaka by train fairly easily. But this picture has completely changed since Monday evening.

The railway authorities say that the pressure has increased on the trains due to the closure of ready-made garment factories. As a result, the authorities are struggling to handle the pressure of passengers. Many people are entering the platform without realizing the opportunity.

 

During the past few days, passengers have to face extensive checking while entering the station. Many people could not travel by train because the national identity card did not match the ticket. But it could not be confirmed due to passenger pressure on Monday evening.

 

Most of the trains leave Dhaka on time from morning to Kamalapur. Some trains leave the station after some time due to various reasons.

 

On the surface, passengers are being checked at three levels of tickets to enter the station. However, due to the large number of passengers, the railway authorities are not able to verify the tickets of all. Many are entering the station by crossing the barrier through various tricks.

 

In this regard, Divisional Commercial Officer Shah Alam Kiran Shishir said, We are trying to check everyone. Of course he can show his ticket and verify with NID. But the passenger pressure is very high. So some are taking advantage of this opportunity and resorting to trickery.
