Greetings of the President to all Bangladeshis living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

President Md. Sahabuddin extended his sincere greetings and blessings to all Bangladeshis living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the most important religious festivals of Muslims. The President conveyed this greeting in a message given on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, April 11.

 

Md. Sahabuddin said, “After a month-long fasting and moderation, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr is gathered among us with the message of immense happiness and joy.”

Hoping that the education of Eid-ul-Fitr will spread among all, develop in a prosperous Bangladesh, he said, this joy of Eid spreads among all, in villages, all over Bengal, all over the world. On this day, people of all classes and professions join in a row and share the joy of Eid. Eid builds bonds of amity, harmony and unity among all.

 

Md. Sahabuddin said, Islam is the religion of peace and welfare. Here there is no place for violence, hatred, violence. Islam embraces universal welfare, including human values, equality and mutual coexistence, and absolute tolerance. This noble message and ideology of Islam should be spread among all.

He said that as a result of various crises worldwide, the global economy is experiencing a slowdown. The impact of this recession is also visible in Bangladesh. As a result, the poor people of the society are facing challenges in leading a normal life. In this situation, I appeal to the well-to-do people of the society to stand by the poor people, so that everyone can enjoy the joy of Eid equally, regardless of the rich and the poor.

 

In the speech, the President hoped that the meaning and eternal message of Islam would spread everywhere, the world would be filled with peace and harmony on the holy Eid-ul-Fitr as a guide for the liberation of humanity.
