The holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country tomorrow on Thursday. Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will be held at Sholakia, the country’s largest Eidgah in Kishoreganj, at 10 am on Thursday, the day of Eid. On the same day, Eid congregation will be held in different Eidgahs and mosques of the country.

A report by BASS has highlighted the places and schedules of the main Eid congregations in different parts of the country.

Dhaka: The main congregation will be held at National Eidgah Maidan in Dhaka at 8:30 am. The first congregation will be held at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram at seven in the morning. Five congregations will be held in this mosque from seven o’clock in the morning.

The main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will be held at eight in the morning at the central Eidgah ground in Savar, Dhaka.

Kishoreganj: The 197th Eid congregation will be held at the historic Sholakia Eidgah ground in Kishoreganj. Prayers will start at 10 am.

Dinajpur: Eid congregation will be held at Gor-e-Shaheed Maidan in Dinajpur at 9 am.

Sylhet: The only Eid congregation will start at eight in the morning at Shahi Eidgah in Sylhet. If it rains, prayers will be held in the nearby mosque.

Bagerhat: Three congregations will be held at the traditional six-domed mosque in Bagerhat. Among them, the first congregation will be at 7:30 in the morning, the second congregation at 8:00 and the last congregation will be at 8:30.

Gopalganj: The main Eid congregation will be held in Gopalganj at eight in the morning at the central Eidgah Maidan in Panchuria. Apart from this, the second congregation will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Thanapara Jame Masjid, and the third congregation at 9 a.m. at SK Alia Madrasa. In case of unfavorable weather, the congregation will be held at the District Model Mosque located at the local Launch Ghat at 8 am and at the same time at the local Central Court Mosque.

Comilla: The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation will be held at Comilla Central Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am. Apart from the central Eidgah, the Eid congregation of 27 wards of the city will be held separately between 8:30 and 9:00.

Feni: The main Eid Jamaat of the district in Feni will be held at Mizan Maidan at eight in the morning.

Magura: The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation in Magura will be held at historic Nomani Maidan in the city at 8 am.

Meherpur: Main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation in Meherpur will be held at 8 am at Meherpur Municipal Eidgah and second congregation at 8.15 am at Old Eidgah grounds.

Sherpur: The main Eid congregation in Sherpur will be held at the municipal Eidgah ground at nine in the morning.

Nilphamari: The main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr will be held in Nilphamari at 8:30 am in the central Eidgah Maidan. Before this, the Eid congregation will be held at 8:30 in the morning at the Police Lines Eidgah ground.
