Gusty winds of 45 to 60 km per hour are likely to blow over the two districts

The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum speed of 60 km over the two districts of the country. Along with that, rain with thunder may occur in these districts.

 

This information has been given in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports till 1 pm on Friday.

According to the notification of the Directorate of Meteorology, gusty or gale force winds may blow over Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar districts from west or north-west at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour. At this time there may be rain or thunder. Therefore, the river ports of these areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1.

 

According to another notification of the Meteorological Office, additional parts of western low pressure are located in West Bengal and nearby areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal. In this situation, the weather of the whole country is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.
