General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of Bengali New Year-1431. In a video message on Sunday, he expressed hope for the beginning of a new chapter in the new year, saying that the fire of hatred should be spread against the politics of sectarianism, conspiracy and terror.

A new chapter will begin in the new year, every hour will be filled with the triumph of our dreams. We will overcome all challenges under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina and move forward to the golden horizon of achievement - this is today's expectation.

Awami League under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must continue the unstoppable progress of development and prosperity. Learning from the mistakes of the past, we will continue to make our beloved organization Awami League stronger and faster on the path of development and progress.

Awami League is determined to spread the fragrance of non-communal spirit in the politics of Bangladesh by upholding the spirit of the liberation war. The fire of hatred must be spread against the politics of sectarianism, conspiracy and terror.
