The highest temperature is 40.2 degrees in Khepupara of Patuakhali.

The day temperature rose slightly as the heatwave spread across seven divisions of the country. At the same time, the maximum temperature of the country crossed 40 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Due to the intense heat, people’s life has been affected almost all over the country. There is no limit to the suffering of working people. The desert air is blowing in the capital. Even the air of the fan does not provide relief.

On Monday (April 15), the highest temperature of the country was recorded at 40.2 degrees Celsius in Khepupara of Patuakhali. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 37.8 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick said that the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies in the next 24 hours from Monday evening, but there may be rain or thunder with gusty winds in two places of Sylhet division. Along with this, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country during this time.

He also said that mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and it may continue.

 

There may be stormy rain in two places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions from Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave may be removed from those two regions.
