Soybean oil new price set. The new price has been increased by 10 taka per liter to 173 taka. 5 liters of soybean oil will be sold at Tk 845. Apart from this, open palm oil has been fixed at Tk 132 per liter. Earlier, the price of bottled soybean oil was Tk 163 per liter at the retail level.
The Ministry of Commerce set this price yesterday Monday. The new prices will be implemented from today Tuesday.
Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Bonaspati Manufacturers Association informed this information in a press release today.
It is said that the circular issued on February 7 for import and production of edible oil raw materials has expired on April 15. As a result, edible oil (refined palm oil and refined soybean oil) will be supplied in the market from April 16 at pre-VAT prices.
