The weather office has said that the trend of rain will increase in the country in the next 4-5 days and the heat will decrease a little. Hail may occur as well. During the next five days, rain or thundershowers are likely to spread over the country and the day temperature may drop.

 

The weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am today (Friday) says that the extension of western low pressure is extending from West Bengal through southwest Bangladesh to northeast Bay of Bengal. Due to its effect, there may be rain or thundershower with gusty wind temporarily in some places of Chittagong division and two places each in Dhaka, Barisal and Sylhet divisions. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.

According to the Meteorological Office, intense heat waves are flowing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts. A mild to moderate heat wave is moving over Dhaka, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Barisal divisions along with Chandpur district and the rest of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions. In some places this heatwave may moderate. Day temperatures may drop slightly and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.

The forecast for the next 24 hours from 9:00 am on Saturday said that there may be rain or thundershowers temporarily with gusty winds in many places of Sylhet division and two places each in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. At this time, the prevailing heat wave may continue in the western and central regions of the country. Day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

In the forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Sunday, it is said that many places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and two places each in Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barisal and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusty or windy rain or thundershowers. Scattered hail may occur at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. At this time, the heat wave may subside in some areas. Day and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country.
