413 pilgrims left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia on the first flight for Hajj

The final formalities to send the pilgrims back to Saudi Arabia began this year. 413 pilgrims left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia on the first flight of Saudia Airlines.

They left for Saudi Arabia to perform the Holy Hajj at 4:05 PM on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Religion Minister Faridul Haque Khan inaugurated this flight at 5:30 am on Thursday. Later, at 7:20 am, another 417 pilgrims left for Saudi on Bangladesh Biman’s second flight. According to the Ministry of Religion, on the first day on Thursday, seven flights will leave Dhaka for Saudi Arabia with pilgrims.

According to the Ministry of Religion, 83 thousand 311 people have registered for Hajj this year. Among them, 4 thousand 416 people have registered under government management and 78 thousand 895 people have registered under private management.

From May 9 to June 10, the national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines will take 45 thousand 525 people on 117 Hajj flights and between May and June 12, Flynas Airlines will take 43 Hajj flights to Saudi Arabia to take the rest of the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

Bangladesh Biman will start return flights with Bangladeshi Haj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia on June 20 and Saudi Arabian airline Flynas will start return Hajj flights from June 21.
