The heat has increased again in the past few days. A mild heat wave is blowing over different parts of the country. People’s lives are disrupted. However, the Meteorological Department has given good news about the decrease in temperature and rain. Where it has been said, the trend of rain may increase due to decrease in heat across the country.

There was drizzle in the capital Dhaka on Saturday morning. Even though it was late, the sun was not visible. There were clouds in the sky.

According to the weather forecast, mild and moderate heat wave is going on in six divisions of the country. However, even during the heat wave, the day temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country. The night temperature may remain almost unchanged. At the same time, rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder may occur temporarily in all the eight divisions.

This information has been reported in the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am on Saturday (May 18).

It has been said in the forecast that stormy rain may occur in some places of Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Sylhet and Mymensingh and one or two places in Barisal, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. Scattered hail may also occur.

On the other hand, the heat wave will continue in six divisions, said the Meteorological Office. Mild to moderate heat waves are passing over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal. On the other hand, the heat wave will decrease in Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur and Feni districts.

Meteorologist Tariful Newar Kabir said that day and night temperatures will decrease across the country from Sunday. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain across the country.

On the other hand, there is discomfort in public life due to the excess of water vapor in the ongoing heat wave. Yesterday Friday, the highest temperature in the country was 39.5 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi. The minimum temperature was 22 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
