34 thousand 741 pilgrims went to Saudi Arabia, one more person died

Another Bangladeshi pilgrim died in Saudi Arabia. Tuesday Md. This 65-year-old pilgrim named Lutfur Rahman died in Mecca. His passport number is 12969408.

A total of three Bangladeshi pilgrims have died with this. This information is known from the daily bulletin of the IT Help Desk on the Hajj portal at around 2.30 pm today.

Earlier, on May 15, the first Bangladeshi pilgrim died in Saudi Arabia during the current Hajj season. That day Asaduzzaman died in Medina. Then last May 18. An 89-year-old pilgrim named Mustafa died in Mecca.

34 thousand 741 pilgrims reached Saudi Arabia till last midnight after the start of Hajj flights. On the other hand, so far 84 thousand 24 pilgrims have received visas. Among them, 3 thousand 747 pilgrims of government management and 30 thousand 994 pilgrims of private management.

So far 87 flights have been operated to Saudi Arabia. Among them, 39 flights are operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 28 by Saudi Airlines and 20 by Flynas Airlines.
This year’s Hajj will be held on June 16 subject to sighting of the moon. The flight of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia started last May 9. The flight will continue till June 10. The return flight will start on June 20 after Hajj. The return flight will end on July 22.

This time, 4 thousand 562 people from Bangladesh under government management and 80 thousand 695 people under private management will go for Hajj.
