According to the Meteorological Department, temporary storms with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour are expected in several parts of the country by evening. At the same time it is also reported that there may be rain or thunder.

This information was given in a forecast for the country’s inland river ports from 9 am to 6 pm on Wednesday (May 22). As a result, the river ports of these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

The forecast given for the inland river ports said that storms with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour may blow over the regions of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra and Mymensingh from the west or north-west direction. Rain or thundershowers are also likely. As a result, the river ports of these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
