According to a report by Times Now, the eye-catching talks from the Japanese city of Tatori took place earlier this month. Some of its pictures are posted on social media. 9 pillars of light can be seen in the bright aura.

However, in a new report of the local media, that claim has been dismissed. It is also mentioned as a reflection of the light used for fishing.

According to the report of the local media mothership, the pillars of light were first seen from the Japanese city of Tataro on May 11. The image was then posted from an X handle called Mashi. It is said to have been spotted off the coast of Daisen, Japan.

A similar photo from another X handle, Totoro8201, then responded to the post, claiming it was seen from Narishi Beach, 12 kilometers east of Daisen.

After that, a lot of speculation started about the matter. This speculation is mainly about the source of light. Many X users claim it is universal.

But recently the local media Mothership said, it is not a cosmic light. Light made by local people which is used for fishing. The matter is locally called ‘Isaribi Kochu’. It literally means ‘pillar of light to attract fish’.
