Due to the impact of Cyclone ‘Remal’, heavy rains with gusty winds have started in the coastal areas of Bangladesh. Maximum sustained wind speed is 90 km/h within 64 km of the cyclone center increasing to 120 km/h in gusty or gusty form.

In this situation, Payra and Mongla seaports have been asked to lower distress signal number 7 and display distress signal number 10 instead.
