A large area including an electrical sub-station of Chittagong city has been submerged in rain water. 20 percent of customers of Chittagong are without electricity. On the other hand, the operation of Chittagong port was not normal even after two days due to rain and wind. The people of the city are suffering.

Chawkbazar, Muradpur, Bahaddarhat, Badurtala, Shulakbahar, Mohammadpur, Kapasgola, Katalganj, Baklia, Chandgaon, Agrabad CDA residential area, Chaktai-Khatunganj, Kalarpol, Barapol, Halishahar and other areas have been submerged. Latest news of flooding in these areas was received at 6 pm today.
