The Meteorological Department said in their latest forecast that severe cyclonic storm Rimal, located in the North-West Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas, has moved over land to the north and crossed the coast. It is positioned as a deep depression over Jessore and adjoining areas. It may move further northeast and weaken into a low pressure area, shedding more rain.
