Two passengers of an autorickshaw were killed after being hit by a train at a railway crossing in Rajshahi. The accident took place in Raipara of Kashiadanga police station of Rajshahi city on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased are Vishnu and Md. Saad Vishnu’s home is in Navaganga area of ​​Paba upazila. And Saad’s house is in Balia of the same upazila. Another person from Ballia was seriously injured in the accident. His name is Saju. He is under treatment in hospital.

According to Rajshahi Medical College (Ramek) hospital and police sources, the autorickshaw went over the railway line in the afternoon. At this time, the commuter train from Chapainawabganj to Rajshahi hit the auto. Vishnu died on the spot. And when the two injured were rescued and taken to Ramek Hospital, the doctor declared Saad dead. Rajshahi Railway Police Station OC Gopal Kumar said, went to the spot. The process of recovering Vishnu’s body is going on. The body will be handed over after the legal process.
