A person died of heat stroke in Delhi, India. He died at Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Wednesday (May 29).

On Thursday (May 30), Indian media reported that the deceased was 40 years old. He is a resident of Dwarbhanga, Bihar.

Doctors said that the person was admitted to the hospital with severe fever. His fever reached 107 degrees, which is 10 degrees above normal.

According to the report, the doctors believe that the body temperature of the dead person has increased due to excessive heat. The man was admitted to hospital late on Monday night. He died of heat stroke while undergoing treatment there on Wednesday. This is the first time someone has died of heat stroke in Delhi this summer.

Meanwhile, the people of Delhi are panting in the intense heat. The temperature in the Indian capital rose to a record 52.9 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. This is the highest temperature in the country’s history.

However, the Central Meteorological Department has given relief in this intense heat in Delhi. As per the forecast, the temperature in Delhi may drop by 2 to 3 degrees on Thursday. It has been reported that the sky of Delhi will be cloudy on this day. In that case, the temperature is likely to drop a little more.

On the other hand, with the heat, the demand for electricity in Delhi has increased. Some fear that this may increase the possibility of load shedding. Doctors have advised mainly the elderly and children to be careful in heat wave conditions.
