A royal look on the brown body. The cow with a length of 9 feet 4 inches and height of 5 feet 5 inches has been named ‘Khan Bahadur’. The farmer said that the weight is about 20 maunds. The cow was prepared for sale at the Qorbani market by Abu Chhayid, a farmer and former UP member of Godarbil village of Teknaf Sadar Union in Cox’s Bazar. Khan Bahadur’s price is 15 lakhs.

On Monday morning, it was seen that the cow was tied to a tree in the yard of the house of farmer Abu Chaiyed. A shepherd named Noor Ahmed is feeding grass. Several people came to see the cow. But when people see the cow, it is coming. Noor Ahmad is trying to calm down the cow by patting its body repeatedly.

Nur Ahmad, who is in charge of cow care, said that the cow is always kept under the fan. Generators are also arranged for load shedding. 10 kg of wheat husk, maize, kesari and peas per day to Bahadur; A mixture of 5 kg of chickpea powder, 20 kg of grass, 5 kg of straw is fed. The daily expenditure on food is around eight hundred rupees. He also bathed Bahadur every day using soap and shampoo.

Farmer Abu Chayed said that he collected the Brahma breed cow as a calf from Noakhali three years ago. After that, the cow was fattened by eating raw grass as well as local grains including husks, husks and pulses. Named Khan Bahadur because of his large size and noble demeanor.

About the sale, Abu Sayed said, “I want to sell the cow from the yard of the house, so that I don’t have to take it to the market.” I paid 15 lakh rupees. But I will sell it even if it is a little less.

Talked on the ground, with some residents of the surrounding area who came to see the cow. Three people named Khorshed Alam, Mujibur Rahman and Ali Akbar said, according to the information they have, this is the biggest cow in Teknaf. They came to see the cow after hearing about it. They expect farmers to get a fair price.

Haradhan Chandra Sushil, Deputy Livestock Officer of Teknaf Upazila, said that it is not possible for everyone to raise these cows of Brahma breed. Experimental production of calves of the growing breed has been discontinued. Yet in the meantime those who have fostered are benefiting.
