Monsoon has entered the country. Due to its effect, even if the sky is cloudy, oppressive heat is felt.. Although there is mild effect in most parts of the country, moderate heat wave is blowing in the southern part. In this situation, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in eight divisions of the country today.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department today at 9 am, there may be light to moderate rain with gusty wind or thunder in many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and in two places in Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

According to the heat wave forecast, mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Kurigram and Chandpur districts along with Khulna and Barisal divisions and it may continue.

Winds will blow from south or southeast direction at a speed of 10 to 15 km per hour today on Saturday. These winds can blow at 40 to 50 km per hour in temporary gusts.

Today the highest temperature in the whole country is 38.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga. At this time the temperature of Dhaka is 35.5 degrees Celsius.
