The moon of the holy month of Zilhaj was seen in the sky of the country. As a result, the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Bangladesh on June 17 (Monday). The announcement was made by the National Moon Sighting Committee after a meeting at the Islamic Foundation of Baitul Mukarram at around 9:30 pm on Friday. Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on June 17.

Meanwhile, as the moon of the month of Zilhaj was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, Eid celebration has been announced in the country on June 16.
